Amid attacks, Jerusalem mayor Barkat calls for public to be unified and determined

In the wake of the Monday attacks in Jerusalem, Mayor Nir Barkat called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to heighten the state's response against terror and to act more firmly against those who incite and encourage it.
"To our regret there is no limit to the cruelty of these low murderers who choose to the attack children and innocent citizens who return from their studies to encounter the satanic evil that is shocking us all," Barkat said.
"I call on the public to be alert and responsible and principally to be unified in the current 'lone-wolf terrorist' war," he added.
