Amman talks end under near-complete media blackout

A second round of Israeli-Palestinian talks was held in Amman on Monday under an almost total media blackout.
While Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh briefed reporters after the resumption of the talks last week, the first time the sides had met directly n 15 months, this time neither he nor the Israeli or Palestinian side provided a readout of the discussions.
Israeli officials have said that the more the talks are held away from the public eye, the better chance they have for success.
