Amnesty calls on all sides to step back, protect civilians

Amnesty International called on Wednesday for "all sides" to step away from violence in Gaza.
"All sides have to step back from the brink in order to protect civilian lives,” said Ann Harrison, Deputy Director of Amnesty International’s Middle East and North Africa Program.
Israel’s assassination of Ahmad Jabari, the head of Hamas's military wing has "placed civilians in Gaza and southern Israel at grave risk by re-igniting the armed conflict there," said Amnesty International.
