Another top IDF officer suspended for allegedly letting wife drive army car

Another top IDF officer was suspended on Wednesday for allegedly letting his wife drive an army vehicle, only days after Brig.-Gen. Imad Faris resigned from the army after lying in a car accident report. IDF Chief of General Staff Gabi Ashkenazi suspended Col. Yisrael Danieli, who is suspected of letting his friends and relatives use army equipment, for sixty days. Danieli was suspended at the recommendation of Maj.-Gen. Avi Zamir. An IDF investigation will be opening in the next few days.
