A Turkish action movie based on the deadly Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound international flotilla is opening in cinemas across Turkey.
The anti-Israel "Valley of the Wolves — Palestine" is about a Turkish undercover agent who sets out to hunt down Israelis responsible for the killing of nine activists who died in the real-life attack in May. It opens Friday.
The TV series on which the film is based already caused a diplomatic row between Turkey and Israel last year and the film could do the same.
Producers have told the AP the film aims to expose alleged injustices against Palestinians and to ensure people don't forget the raid.
Israel's ambassador to Turkey has expressed dismay that the film's special gala viewing and opening has coincided with Holocaust memorials.
