Arab Fund pledges Iraq $1.5 bln in financing

KUWAIT - The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development pledged Iraq $1.5 bln in financing, its director Abdullatif Youssef Al-Hamad said on Wednesday.

A leading Arab soft-loan development institution, the fund made the announcement at conference to reconstruct the war-torn country in neighboring Kuwait.
