Ariel University professors appointed to CHE committees

Chairman of the Council of Higher Education and Education Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced on Wednesday the appointment of three faculty members from Ariel University to different committees of the council.

Head of Ariel’s Center for Middle East Studies, professor Alexander Bligh, was appointed member of the public administration and political science committee while professor Sarah Ben David, head of the Department of Criminology at the institution, was nominated member of the behavioral sciences committee. Lastly, head of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, professor Shraga Shoval, was appointed to the committee of industrial engineering and management.

The committees’ functions include examining requests of higher education institutions to open new programs as well as applications for the establishment of new institution.
