Arizona gov. vetoes presidential birth-proof bill

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer vetoed a bill Monday that required US presidential candidates to prove US citizenship before their names could appear on state ballots.
Arizona would have become the first US state to pass such an amendment.
Brewer said her issue with the bill was that it empowered Arizona's secretary of state to judge any candidate's qualifications who desires a spot on the ballot, the Associated Press reported.
