The IDF fired to distance a number of suspects who neared the Syrian border on Wednesday night, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit. No casualties were reported in the incident.
IDF lookouts saw the suspects in military positions near where IDF soldiers were operating. The soldiers fired flares and fired from a tank in order to distance the suspects who returned into Syrian territory.
Syrian media had reported that an Israeli tank fired near a town in the Quneitra area near the border with Syria on Wednesday night.
