COVID-19 in Israel: Quarantine for patients shortened to seven days

The number of days Israeli COVID-19 patients are required to quarantine was shortened to seven days instead of 10, the Health Ministry announced on Tuesday.

Health Minister director-general Prof. Nachman Ash made the call after testing done in the ministry revealed the chances of the COVID-19 virus still infecting the body after a week stand at only 6%.

The decision will come into effect on Thursday.
