Update: The IDF announced on Monday morning that due to a technical error, the alert will take place at 11:05 instead. Alerts over mobile applications will not be activated. At 10:05 a.m., a test alert went out over the mobile app.

An earthquake drill was set to take place in a number of cities by Home Front Command on Monday at 10:05 a.m., including Kiryat Shmona, Beit She'an, Acre, Nesher, Arad, Dimona and in towns in the Jordan Valley.

A short siren will sound followed by a repeating announcement reading out "earthquake" in Hebrew. In the case of a real alert, a rising and falling siren will be heard afterwards.
