The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry summoned Israel's ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky on Thursday after a phone call between Russia's deputy foreign minister and Israel's Director-General of the Foreign Ministry Alon Ushpiz was made public.
Brodsky said that the meeting had two goals: de-escalation and an expression of concern for Israel's diplomats in Ukraine.
