The Health Ministry said in a Saturday evening update that 7,081 Israelis tested positive for COVID-19 throughout the weekend.
There are 326 coronavirus patients currently in serious condition, with 15 of those connected to ECMO machines. 15.96% of all COVID-19 tests taken on Friday returned a positive result.
A total of 43,600 Israelis tested positive for COVID-19 during Purim week, a small decline of 1.7% from last week's numbers.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic stands at 10,419.
