Some 7,783 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Saturday, according to a Sunday morning update by the Health Ministry, with the numbers of tests taken yesterday at a 21.17% positive rate.
331 COVID patients are still in serious condition as of Sunday, with 163 being critical and another 21 patients connected to ECMO machines.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic stands at 10,419.
