Ukraine-Russia war: 709 new immigrants arrive in Israel

709 new immigrants arrived at Israel's Ben-Gurion Airport, escaping the carnage from the Russia-Ukraine war, the Aliyah and Integration Ministry announced on Friday morning. 

Of them, 575 are from Ukraine; the remaining 134 immigrants are from Russia and Belarus. 

233 of them entered on a tourist visa.
