11,663 Israelis tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend, the Health Ministry said in a Saturday evening update.
290 coronavirus patients are in serious condition, with 20 of those connected to ECMO machines.
Additionally, one in five (20.04%) COVID-19 tests taken on Friday have returned a positive result, as 747,513 Israelis have received the fourth vaccine.
The death toll stands at 10,460.
