Condition of Israeli soldier injured in Jenin improves - report

The condition of the Counterterrorism Unit officer, Ch.-Supt. S., who was injured when Israeli security forces killed Palestinians planning to carry out terror attacks in the West Bank city of Jenin, is improving, N12 reported. 

Three members of a terror cell were killed in a firefight with Border Police's Counterterrorism Unit officers in Araba near Jenin on Friday night.

Paletinian Islamic Jihad said in a statement that the three gunmen – Saeb Abahreh, 30, Khalil Tawalbeh, 24, and Saif Abu Libdeh, 25 – were members of its military wing, the Al-Quds Brigades.

PIJ and other Palestinian groups have pledged to avenge their deaths and continue to fight against Israel.
