IDF troops shot a Palestinian who tried to cross the security fence near the village of Khirbet Jabara near the city of Tulkarm in the Menashe Territorial Brigade area on Sunday, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said in a statement.
The troops shot at the man in accordance with standard procedure for dealing with suspicious persons, the IDF said. The suspect has been evacuated by helicopter to Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital to receive medical attention.
