A group of Israelis was arrested by Egyptian authorities for waving the Israeli flag during a vacation in the Sinai peninsula, N12 reported on Monday evening.
The Egyptian forces arrested the group, who were filming a video for social media, due to seeing the waving of the Israeli flag as a "provocation," the report added.
The Israelis, who were reportedly detained for two days, were released and brought back to Israel following assistance from the Israeli embassy and Foreign Ministry.
