Gantz spoke with US counterpart, discussed killing of Shireen Abu Akleh

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin met with Israel's Defense Minister Benny Gantz and discussed the killing of Palestinian-American Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh and clarified that Israel welcomes an investigation into the killing, Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby said Thursday.
