3 Palestinians detected near military base after two hours - report

Three Palestinians crossed through the security fence in the Binyamin region of the West Bank and walked around freely, undetected, for two hours, near a military base, KAN Reshet Bet reported on Thursday morning. Dozens of Border Police and IDF soldiers were asleep nearby.

When one of the Border Policemen noticed them, she activated a security system. The three ran away. Security forces entered the nearby Palestinian town of Jaba in pursuit of them and searches are still ongoing.

The three were not armed, according to the report. They cut through the fence, presumably to steal military equipment.

This is a developing story.
