Israel Police uncovered a rape that was committed in 2017 in Jerusalem, arresting the man suspected of committing the crime on Monday, police announced on Tuesday.
The rape was uncovered while police were investigating a separate incident. The suspect, a resident of Jerusalem in his 30's, is being investigated on charges of rape, threats and disrupting an investigation. His arrest was extended on Tuesday until June 16.
