The West Bank settlement of Mitzpe Hagit was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon as a wildfire spread around the settlement, according to Israel Fire and Rescue Services. The fire was brought under control later in the afternoon.

The fire has begun surrounding the settlement and firefighters are working to try and stop the fire from hitting the first row of homes.
