'Anti-Netanyahu' Defendant Law passes in Knesset committee

The Defendant Law, submitted by Meretz MK Gaby Lasky, passed in a vote in the Knesset's Committee on Legislative Affairs on Sunday.

The coalition is now expected to make a final attempt to pass the law, which would see MKs under indictment blocked from forming a government, in the Knesset plenum before the Knesset's expected dispersal.
