Shlomo Deri, the brother of Shas leader Aryeh Deri, was sentenced to nine months of community service and a fine of NIS 280,000 on Thursday as part of a plea deal.
The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court accepted the plea deal after Deri admitted and was later convicted for committing tax offenses.
