The IDF confirmed on Thursday evening that 19-year-old soldier Cpl. Roei Kogelmas died on Wednesday after likely drowning during a vacation organized by the Israeli military.
The Kogelmas family requested that the media and the public not attend the fallen soldier's funeral, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said.
