Russian surveillance spotted aircraft spotted in Alaska's ADIZ - NORAD

A number of Russian surveillance aircraft were spotted entering and operating within the Alaskan Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ) - a buffer zone outside the state's airspace - over the past two days, the North American Aersopace Defense (NORAD) Command announced on Wednesday morning.

The aircraft did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace.
