First Ukrainian wounded arrive in Israeli hospital for medical treatment

The first wounded Ukrainian that Israel has agreed to provide treatment to arrived at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel over Rosh Hashanah and more are expected to join him over the coming weeks.

In the coming weeks, the Israeli health system will take in and treat battle wounded from the fighting zones in Ukraine.

These are about 20 injured people with severe limb amputations that require complex rehabilitation, additional surgeries if necessary, and prostheses.
