Shas submits bill to allow appointment of Arye Deri

MK Moshe Arbel of Shas on Thursday submitted to the Knesset Secretariat a bill that would allow the appointment of party chairman Arye Deri to the position of minister. The move came despite the fact that Deri was convicted of tax offenses as part of a plea deal and legal concerns arose against his appointment.
