The IDF's Navy stopped two boats and arrested their crew of six off the southern coast of the Gaza Strip on the suspicion of their involvement in a smuggling operation from Egypt on Sunday night, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit announced on Monday.
The Navy soldiers stopped the boats with warning shots, according to open-fire regulations.
The boats were confiscated and the suspects were detained and transferred for further questioning.
