United Torah Judaism MK Yitzhak Goldknopf informed incoming prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday afternoon he will not take up a security cabinet seat, as was initially agreed in the coalition agreements.
The cabinet seat caused a spar between Goldknopf's Agudat Yisrael faction and the Degel Hatorah faction within UTJ, who objected to his inclusion in the security cabinet.
