Incoming prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Thursday morning during the ratification of the government the appointment of several positions, including Likud MK Eli Cohen who will be foreign minister.
On top of that, former Israeli ambassador to the US Ron Dermer has been appointed as strategic affairs minister and Israel Katz was appointed to energy minister.
