Border Police commander, officers suspended after 'forgetting' officer in Palestinian town

A Border Police commander and a number of officers were suspended on Wednesday after they forgot an officer in the town of Al-Ram on Tuesday.

The commander of Border Police, Amir Cohen, also ordered the suspension of training and operational activity of Border Police units in light of the incident.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Palestinian media published footage showing the Border Police officer wandering by herself in Al-Ram on Tuesday.
