The water level in the Sea of Galilee (lake Kinneret) rose by 4 cm over the last day alone, the Israel Water Authority announced on Tuesday morning as winter storm Barbara hit the country with full force.
This increase follows a 3.5 cm increase in the water level over the weekend.
The water level is now just 1.60 meters from the upper red line of the lake.
