A stabbing attack was thwarted near al-Fawar, south of Hebron, on Thursday afternoon, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.
The suspected terrorist was shot after he approached IDF soldiers at the scene and tried to stab one of them. No soldiers were injured.
The suspected terrorist was pronounced dead at Soroka Medical Center.
