Israel's High Court of Justice ordered Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Attorney-General Gali Baharav-Miara to explain why they believe Netanyahu should not be sent to prison in light of the ongoing trial against him.
On Friday morning, High Court Judge Daphne Barak-Erez ordered the state to respond to the petition from the Movement for Quality Government in Israel by next month.
