German foreign minister: Finland, Sweden NATO bids must be ratified without further delay

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said on Monday that she expects all NATO members to ratify Finland and Sweden's bids to join the defence alliance "without further delay."

An accession of the two countries would strengthen the alliance as a whole, added Baerbock at a news conference in Helsinki with her Finnish counterpart, Pekka Haavisto.
