Three rockets were fired on the city of Ashkelon from the Gaza Strip and were intercepted by the IDF, a Ashkelon spokesperson confirmed.
Earlier, sirens were activated and a red alert was given for the southern industrial area and the southern part of the city of Ashkelon.
