A gun was fired at the Yair Farm settlement in the West Bank on Saturday night, prompting the IDF to conduct searches in the area, according to Ynet.
During the searches, Israeli forces located six backpacks and arrested the suspected gunman several hours later in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan near Nablus.
Tensions have been high in the region since 11 Palestinians, including members of the Lions' Den terrorist group, were killed in an IDF raid in Nablus last week.
