Israeli ex-diplomat Yaakov Kedmi sanctioned due to Russia ties

Israeli ex-diplomat and politician Yaakov Kedmi was sanctioned by the Council of the European Union on Saturday for his reported ties to the Kremlin and spreading of Russian propaganda on state television.

Kedmi was sanctioned along with 86 other individuals as part of the EU's 10th package of sanctions which came one year after Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine.
