Israel's Highway 6 opened for traffic after suspicious device scare

Israel's Highway 6 was closed from Sorek junction to the north, after a suspicious object was discovered on Tuesday evening at a fuel station along the road, according to Israel Police's Spokesperson's Unit.

Police officers were directing traffic in the area as the object was being examined.

The road was opened for traffic about an hour later.
