Xi's trip suggests China does not think Kremlin should face accountability, Blinken says

Chinese President Xi Jinping's trip to Russia this week following the International Criminal Court arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin suggests China does not think the Kremlin should be held accountable for its atrocities in Ukraine, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Monday.

Blinken, speaking to reporters at a briefing, said the world should not be fooled by any tactical move by Russia that is supported by China.
