The Jordanian parliament voted to request the government to expel the Israeli ambassador from the country, according to Jordanian newspaper Al-Dustur.
The decision was taken after Smotrich made comments at a private event in Paris, in which he stood at a podium adorned with a graphic looking like a map with extended Israeli borders that included Jordan, Gaza and the West Bank and denied the existence of the Palestinian people.
