Contaminated water detected in northern Israel water sources

Israel's Health Ministry on Monday reported abnormal results in its pollution testing samples from bodies of water in the north of the country, mostly connected to the Jordan River.

The ministry urged the public to avoid swimming in the contaminated water.

The contaminated locations are: Nahal Ayun, the Hatzbani tributary of the Jordan River, Yesud HaMa'ala bridge and Nahal Yehudaya.
