Kremlin: Russia will have to respond to Finland joining NATO

The Kremlin said on Tuesday it would be forced to take "counter-measures" to ensure Russia's security in response to Finland's accession to the NATO military alliance.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called Helsinki's move to join the bloc an "encroachment" on Russia's security and said the structure of NATO was hostile towards Russia.
