Seven residents of the city of Lod, including some children, were injured in a shooting on Thursday night, according to Israel Police.
There were varying levels of injury among the victims.
The background of the incident was determined to be criminal, and police announced that they were investigating it further.
Those injured were taken to Shamir Medical Center in Tzrifin for treatment.
