Couple in their 70s injured in car crash during siren

A couple in their 70s were moderately injured in a car accident near Hemed Interchange on Tuesday morning, according to United Hatzalah.

The couple had stopped their car in the middle of the road when the Holocaust Remembrance Day siren started, and the car was hit by another car.

The couple are not Israeli citizens and thought they could stop in the road for the siren instead of on the side of the road
