Searches are underway for a young Israeli man has gone missing in Lake Kinneret on Wednesday, according to Hebrew media.
The man and his girlfriend kayaked deep into the lake between Halukim Beach and Gofra Beach when their boat reportedly capsized and he was swept away.
There are conflicting reports in Hebrew media about the exact circumstances of the incident.
Border Guard officers, Magen David Adom, the Golan Rescue Unit, lifeguards and other volunteers are participating in the search that is being conducted in the water, on the land and from the air.
