The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have agreed to implement a nationwide ceasefire starting at midnight, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement on Monday.
The United States urged both sides to immediately and fully uphold the ceasefire in Sudan, Blinken added.
