Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blocked two defense-related visits to the United States by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Channel 12 reported on Wednesday evening.
Two invitations from Washington addressed to the defense minister, were left unanswered following Netanyahu's intervention through Prime Minister's Office staff members, per the report.
Netanyahu's reported cancelation of Gallant's security talks in the White House follows US President Joe Biden's March announcement that Netanyahu would not be invited to Washington "in the near term."
